APRA started with the purpose of making a voice for medical patients and helping them in preventing medical and financial harm.

According to statistics, the 3rd leading cause of death is preventable medical errors. Due to these errors, many patients lose their lives. Surprisingly, these errors can be prevented through extra care. But people and hospitals do not give adequate attention. Most healthcare attention seekers do not know about these preventable medical errors and how to prevent them. Therefore, APRA educates the members through its website (americanpatient.org) and application.

Another problem for the patients is the financial hardships that come due to medical bills. Excessive medical billing leads to bankruptcy. Consequently, the patients had to go through tough times. APRA provides unbiased information and programs to help members avoid high medical bills. It also supports and promotes medical facilities, doctors, and nurses who improve healthcare by reducing the bills and preventable errors.

APRA keeps its members informed with the help of an updated website and application. Members get alerts for medical services and goods. It also promotes communication between medical service providers and patients to improve healthcare. It serves as a voice for patients.

americanpatient.org wanted a fully functional mobile application for their members. The application had to be a safety guide to guide hospital patients about preventable medical errors.

Hospitals make preventable errors, but they do not make them public. Therefore, the app was aimed to guide common people about how they can prevent these errors. It had to be simple, easy, and beneficial for the readers.

A membership option was also required. Only the members have access to the app.

Solution

The task was simple as an elementary application was needed. It was pretty easy and simple for our experts, and they did the job within 25 days and in one attempt. We made applications for iOS and Android devices.
